A man called Clint

Naturally, I’m disappointed that Fulham decided to fall down 3-0 after 45 minutes at Stoke City on Tuesday, but I am proud of the effort shown in the eventual 3-2 defeat.

Not nearly as proud, however, as I am of this piece of skill from Clint Dempsey:

He also assisted on the first goal. Not bad for a second-half substitute.

Hopefully, he’ll save some of this magic for this summer in South Africa…

    Hi Randy
Happy New Year from Geordieland !!!!
I have been watching “Clint” since Fulhams good run of form, possibly one of the most under-rated players in the Premiership. One of those players who you dont realise how important they are to the teams success until they are not there ( does that make sense ?)
Jack has some reading material for you – he forgot to pack “other items” so I will send them on.
    All the Best for 2010!
    Up the Toon !!!!

It’s nice to see him playing well. My only wish is that Roy Hodgson come stand next to Bob Bradley in the technical area during the World Cup.

Clint plays so much better for club than for country. That can’t be an accident.
